Transair Pilot Shop Trade


All references to Transair refer to Transair (UK) Ltd and the Customer is the company or business ordering goods from Transair.

The most current prices will always apply and thus may occasionally differ from those quoted in the catalogue or on the Trade Price List.
Transair reserves the right to amend prices without notice, and the price invoiced will be that ruling at the time of the order being placed by the customer. All prices on the Trade web site and Price List are quoted ex-VAT.
Countries outside the EU will not be charged UK VAT. Those companies within the EU who provide proof of their VAT number (company headed paper with company VAT number printed on) can have the VAT deducted on exportation to their home country. Should you be unable to provide satisfactory evidence of your VAT number, UK VAT will have to be charged to your order.

Each product has a discount ranging from 2.5% up to 50%. Discounts can be found on the Trade Web site. Prices are also available upon request from the Trade Department.

Transair's Trade Department is open from the hours of 8.30 am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. The department is closed on Public Holidays and weekends. Delivery, Damage & Shortages
Orders received before 2pm will be despatched the same day, subject to stock availability. Goods will only be sent to the Trade Customers business address and not direct to their customer. Transair will deliver any goods ordered by the customer within a reasonable time, and times specified for a delivery will be our best estimate only.
Transair will not be liable for any consequential losses, costs or damages suffered by the customer, or another party, whether directly or indirectly, as a result of any failure to deliver.

Delivery is a 2-3 working day service for Mainland UK and a 2 – 5 working day service for UK Highlands & Islands and Europe. Postage prices may vary and volumetric weight may apply on certain large light weight products. For these and heavier parcels freight quotations will be supplied. If you have your own shipping account with a company we can arrange delivery through them. Freight quotations for Express deliveries are available upon request.
Delivery discrepancies or damage to the goods must be reported to Transair within 5 working days of receipt, otherwise a claim for the loss cannot be processed.
Transair's liability is limited to the cost of the goods lost or damaged.

Hazardous Goods
Certain goods such as Liferafts and some Aerospace Chemicals are classed as hazardous for export purposes. As a result, on receipt of an order with these types of items in it, we may have to contact you to discuss an additional charge to cover the cost of the Hazardous Packaging Requirements.

If a customer has a credit account with Transair, payment is due no later than 30 days from the date of Invoice and shall be made without set off or deduction. Otherwise payment will need to accompany your order either by credit/debit card or cheque in pounds sterling. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Transair (UK) Ltd'.

Oversea's Customers: An amount of £12.00 will need to be added to your order value/payment for Bank Administration Charges. (This does not apply to UK BACS payments).

Transair reserves the right to charge interest at a rate of 4% over the current base lending rate of National Westminster Bank Plc from the Invoice due date to the date payment is received.

Approved Purchasers
Orders must be placed by your designated and approved purchaser(s) named on your application form and shipped to the account address or a branch of your company. The customer accepts full responsibility for orders placed by its staff and absolves Transair accordingly.

Returns Policy
You must contact Transair before returning any goods in order to ensure your return is authorised. Unwanted items should be returned within a maximum of 28 days. Transair is not obliged to accept the return of goods incorrectly ordered by the Customer, and reserves the right to charge a handling fee. The customer shall not return goods to Transair without consent, which will be granted on such terms as it sees fit. The cost of returning products to Transair will be payable by the customer.
Transair reserve the right to exchange or repair, at their discretion, any warranty returns. The Transair warranty period shall be voided if any modification, repair or misuse of the goods is made by the customer or an unauthorised third party. Items returned for a refund must be undamaged and in a re-saleable condition, complete with all their packaging in tact. This excludes videos, DVD's and computer software, which can only be returned for replacement if faulty.
Transair does not accept any liability in respect of goods returned to us that fail to arrive.

Bose Headsets
These can only be supplied to the End-User. If your intension is to re-sell the headset, unfortunately we will not be able to process your order. Aircraft registration number is required to quote on invoice.

Chart Returns
Unsold, out of date UK ICAO and Transair Charts can be returned and exchanged for the equivalent current edition chart, to a maximum of 10% of the total number of charts purchased of the previous edition. Returns must be made to Transair's Trade Department within 14 days of the release of the new edition chart.

Reservation of Title
The goods shall remain the property of Transair until the customer has paid for them in full. Until that time, the customer will hold them as bailee, and store them in such a way as they can be identified as the property of Transair. Although the goods remain the property of Transair until paid for, they shall be at the risk of the customer once delivered, and the customer shall insure them against loss or damage accordingly.

The customer forfeits their right to possession of the goods in the event that payment terms are not adhered to, or in the event that a Receiver, Liquidator or Administrator is appointed. Under such circumstances, Transair and its appointed agents are authorised to enter the customer's premises and repossess their goods accordingly.
